Todd and Lucy were both late bloomers, Todd was more interested in sport and perfecting his dance, “The Sniff” and Lucy despite her many admirers just couldn’t be bothered.

When they met it took Todd a year to kiss Lucy and this wedding was definitely a case of opposites attracting.

The groom’s party  enjoyed a few cold ones as they compared their crazy socks and prepared for the big day at Punthill Apartment Hotel.

Meanwhile the girls grooved and drank mimosas in their PJs, the perfect way to prepare for Lucy’s big day at Windsor Hotel.

The bride and groom shared personal vows with each other that they had written themselves.

Lucy made everyone smile when she told Todd, “you always see the best in me but also make me see the best in myself”

Given the ceremonies close proximity to their reception at White Lane, the wedding party casually strolled from Richmond to the reception, photographer SophieTimothy  photographed them along the way, capturing the newlyweds against the background and beauty of Melbourne

Lucy and Todd even shared a kiss, with the iconic Flinders St station in the background

Lucy’s dad gave a speech that everyone joked was sponsored by Kleenex, his last words ended with, “Please preserve nature and maintain that magic, now lets party!”

The quote it ‘was always you’ lit up the wedding reception and the wedding party and their guests all danced up a storm as they celebrated and partied well into the night.

Todd’s famous dance, ‘The Sniff’ even made an appearance and the laughter and fun made this wedding infectious and easy to capture.

Congratulations again to Todd and Lucy it was such a blast working on your wedding day.
