// DUAYNE & KAITLYN | CROWN AVIARY //
Warmth and love radiated from this incredibly beautiful couple. We were privileged to be able to be a part of such a magnificent wedding and be in the presence of these two passionate human beings as they tied the knot. From laughter to happy tears, everything was on display on full blast at this wedding.
Preparation was a comfortable and easy affair, with both Duayne and Kaitlyn preparing for their big day within Melbourne CBD. Within a small apartment at 474 Flinders Street, Duayne and the boys could be found readying themselves for the day ahead. We were also able to accompany them on a short walk with them to a small cafe for a coffee. Kaitlyn on the other hand opted for a nice room with a magical view in the Crown Towers. With custom made champagne glasses and loving family and friends to accompany, Kaitlyn kicked off the wedding in the best way possible
Nestled at the top of Crown Towers, Crown Aviary provided the perfect location for a scenic and remarkable wedding. With the magical backdrop of the Melbourne sun, we were able to capture some truly timeless frames as the couple exchanged their vows. Furthermore, the talent and loving nature of their celebrant, ensured we came out with some laughter and smiles as well.
Location on this shoot was extra unique. We first began at the Royal Botanical Gardens for an unforgettable first look. Inside a steamy greenhouse, we were able to capture raw emotions as Duayne saw his wife to be for the first time. The next location shoot took place in a little alleyway sourced by the couples amazing photographers at Christian Marc photography. The reason why this location shoot was extra unique, was because of a little detour to get Churros in the middle of Southern Cross Station at the request of the couple; a request we were more than happy to oblige.
The new Crown Aviary reception hall is perfect for intimate, yet lavish wedding receptions. The couple and their guests engaged in amazing speeches and then broke the new Crown Aviary dance floor in as they danced the night away.
